Context
City-scale beautification is a logistics problem before it is a horticultural one. Work is spread across dozens of locations with different soils, different water access and different public usage patterns, and every site is live public realm during execution.
GNIX delivered landscaping and plantation across major roads and parks throughout Prayagraj under the Prayagraj Development Authority, and subsequently held the annual maintenance contract for the installed greenery — the phase where city beautification programmes usually deteriorate.

Public realm during execution
Roads and parks in constant public use, requiring safe working, rapid site restoration and protection of new planting.
Maintaining what was installed
City beautification typically looks excellent for one season. Without a funded maintenance regime, plantings are lost to grazing, footfall, drought and neglect.
Approach
How we handled it
- Zone-based deliveryThe city split into zones with dedicated crews and material staging, so each area was completed and protected rather than partially planted everywhere.
- Palette matched to public exposureHardy, high-tolerance species on unprotected road frontages, with more ornamental treatment reserved for parks and enclosed spaces.
- Annual maintenance as a continuing contractThe follow-on AMC covered pruning, replacement, irrigation and seasonal cycles across the installed assets, holding the appearance beyond the first year.
